After putting Pretty Girl together, I went out for a quick fifty miler to Viennes, a beautiful old Roman town on the Isere river. Along the way I crested my first official col, the sign for which I just accidentally deleted. It was 300 meters in height and damnit if I was't proud! It was a fine day; full of hope and anticipation and somewhat confused map reading.
